In an interview with Isna, Dr. Hossein Tawakli stated: According to the criteria for participating in the entrance exam for non-consecutive master’s courses in 96 universities and higher education institutions, including the Islamic Azad University, as well as the 22nd Scientific and Student Olympiad of the country, there are 878,388 students. Volunteers have registered. The number of candidates registering for this exam has increased by 117,272 people or in other words by 13.35% compared to last year. Last year, 761,116 candidates registered for the master’s exam.
He further stated: Out of the 878 thousand 388 candidates registered in the above exam, 430 thousand 66 are women and 448 thousand 322 are men. Also, out of this number of registered candidates, 533 thousand 551 candidates are in the humanities department, 45 thousand 228 candidates are in the basic sciences department, 200 thousand 194 candidates are in the technical engineering department, 27 thousand 915 candidates are in the agriculture and natural resources department, 69 thousand 343 volunteers have registered in the art department and 2 thousand 157 volunteers have registered in the veterinary department.
The senior adviser of the country’s education assessment organization said: Out of the 878 thousand 388 candidates who registered in the 96 master’s exam, 71 thousand 774 candidates, in addition to choosing the first exam field, also expressed their interest in choosing the second exam field.
According to Dr. Tavakli, considering that the exam of each of the exam fields is held separately and every candidate must have a printout of the second exam field code exam participation card to participate in each of the exam fields. Statistics of those interested in the code of the second exam field (71 thousand 774 candidates) and statistics of registrants (878 thousand 388 candidates) for the exam, 950 thousand 162 entrance cards will be issued and the exam will be held based on this number.
He reminded: Out of 950 thousand 162 cards issued, 462 thousand 565 cards are issued for female candidates and 487 thousand 597 cards are issued for male candidates.
