After about 6 months after the incident of the collapse of the Abadan Metropol building, the final verdicts of the culprits of this incident were issued.
In the judicial case of the Abadan Metropol incident, a total of 7 types of verdicts were issued for 21 convicts.
Regarding the details of this news, the Ahvaz prosecutor said: Each of the convicts was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment and payment of dowry to the families and heirs of the victims of the accident, forced residence, dismissal from government and public services, cancellation of employment licenses and prohibition of employment in the construction engineering profession.
Jafari Chegini added: So far, 10 of the convicts are currently serving their prison terms and the rest of the convicts have been sentenced, which will be implemented as soon as possible.
Ta’zeer is a punishment that does not fall under the title of retribution or ransom, and the circumstances of committing a crime and the amount of its punishment are not specified in the Sharia. Among the punitive punishments are imprisonment, monetary penalty and deprivation of social rights. He pointed out like them, although the type of punishment for Metropol’s culprits has not been determined by the judiciary.
Ahvaz prosecutor stated that a part of the Diyat addressed the families of the victims of the collapse of the Abadan Metropol building and announced the final verdict of the court in the presence of the families affected by the Abadan Metropol accident, and announced the names of these convicts.
1- Amin Taqvifar (supervising engineer) at the rate of two and a half percent of the fault
2- Amir Esmaili Ward Najani (the head of the investment deputy and technical representative on behalf of the municipality – employee) to the extent of two and a half percent of the fault
3- Abdul Reza Naderianfar (Head of the Abadan Engineering System office) with 2% fault
4- Saeed Parsafer (designer and consultant) at the rate of 2% fault
5- Mohammad Qanbar Dezfuli (designer and consultant) with 2% fault
6- Mahmoudreza Shirazi (former mayor) to the extent of one and a half percent fault
7- Hossein Hamidpour (former mayor) by one and a half percent of Tafsir
8- Alireza Bazaft (supervisor of one municipality region) is at fault for one and a half percent
9- Khorram Moulai Sefid Dashti (supervisor of the municipal area) is responsible for one and a half percent
10- Farhad Miyahi (director of one municipality region) is 1% fault 11- Mohammad Zoghi (technical supervisor and urban planning of the municipality region) is 1% fault
12- Mohammad Hawizawi (Mayor) is half a percent of fault
13- The above-mentioned Fariborz (technical and urban development manager of one municipality region) is half a percent of the fault
14- Alireza Bechari (superintendent of Abadan municipality) is half a percent of fault
