Some suggested exercises to improve handwriting and handwriting disorders
Before learning to write, drawing pictures with a brush and finger on the sand leads to preparation before writing
* In the first stage of teaching calligraphy, it is better to make samples of letters and words from boards or other objects so that students can touch them because this action fixes their shapes in the children’s brains and makes them writable. It also makes it easier for children to learn letters and words with enthusiasm
* Writing in bold on text that is written in a faint way also helps to improve the line. Also, using parchment paper and practicing on words or letters written is also better for this purpose.
* If the children put too much pressure on the paper, we can use carbon and ask the children to write on the carbon so that not much of their writing falls on the paper below.
* If children bring their heads too close to the office, make sure their eyes are not weak by seeing a doctor
* Make sure that children do not tilt the paper too much to prevent them from writing crookedly
* If your child writes words too big or small, you can consider the average size for the words and ask the child to fill in the space by putting a line between the words.
* Irregular writing may be due to limited movement in the hand or holding the pencil too tightly or not in the right position when writing. By eliminating any of these causes, the student can write better. have
* Choose exercises that will boost students’ confidence. For this purpose, we start with easy phrases.
* Encourage students to have positive beliefs about their abilities and establish a strong link between students’ efforts and individual values, and especially encourage them to take their efforts seriously. Students should consider calligraphy as an important skill.
* Give students tasks and responsibilities that are interesting for them to do and thus strengthen the interest and motivation for correct writing and beautiful writing in children
* The cooperation of parents and teachers in this education is very important. We ask parents to help students and teachers to learn and learn this skill better by providing them with appropriate tools for writing and visiting calligraphy and drawing exhibitions.
