Professor Gholamhossein Devani says about Mustafa Alimadd’s Shadarvan

Professor Gholamhossein Devani of Mustafa Alimadd Shadarvan says:

Great man of thought

By Gholamhossein Devani

About ten days before the death of Mustafa Alimdad, one of his friends mentioned via e-mail that since we want to hold a special ceremony for the teacher, if possible, write an article about the teacher. I also prepared an article and sent it to him, but unfortunately, a few days later, through this same friend, I got the news that Professor Jahan Fani was passed away. I decided to rewrite the same writing and present it as a student under the teacher’s supervision.

I met Professor Alimadd at the Higher Institute of Accounting in 1351. A professor of religious ethics, principles of ethics, orderly and dignified.

Alimdad was an example of a professor and teacher in speech and deed, who never contaminated his position as a teacher with titles and positions, and together with several other professors, he became the source of outstanding services to the accounting profession in the establishment of the accounting research and review center of the National Industries Organization and the Audit Organization. . At the time when the research center was located on Zaratasht Street, due to the proximity of my residence to the center, in the afternoons I used to go to the office of Mr. Nizamuddin Malek Arai and chat with the dignitaries of the profession, Alimdad, Alior, Arbab Soleimani, Shabahang, and Timuri. Sometimes I would dare and some jokes would come up. Later in the seventies, with his guidance and the efforts of Mohammad Shalileh, Najmi Hashemifasharky, and Tenni, some of the graduates of the Higher Institute of Accounting in commemorating the services and memory of Dr. Nabavi, the “Alumni Association of the Institute” was established in view of the problems and bottlenecks in the establishment of associations at that time. We established the format of “Future Accountants Investment Company” with the aim of reviving the “Higher Institute of Accounting” and this company, in line with the instructions of the teacher, established the training center for accompanying accountants, which is still continuing its educational activities despite the disloyalty of some of its officials. continues The center of our graduates in this association and training center was Shadarvan Alimadd, who always patiently and soberly invited us to be calm and tried to “return the lost water to the atmosphere”.
The professor was a critical person and welcomed critical articles in such a way that this caused interesting critical articles about the performance of accounting standards to be published by expert friends in the accountant, which broke the false sanctity of sanctification in the profession because sanctification has no place in science and thought. . Professor Alimdad’s behavior in this regard should be a great lesson for those who consider themselves to be the authority of standards and professions from the law and treat any criticism with hatred, while their position is borrowed and the position of Professor Alimdad and his ilk are intrinsic. And it was real. May we strive for the stability of the profession in a society where exclusionary practices are institutionalized by protecting the professionals and those who have the role of protecting the profession in this valley. Let’s try to follow in the footsteps of these great men of science and thought and send greetings to their names and make their memory last.
