Halogen-free flame retardant
Halogen flame retardant has been widely used as the first flame retardant. Materials with not so much consumption but high efficiency. However, due to toxicity and environmental pollution, strict rules have been established for their consumption. According to the RoHS directive, the use of most halogen flame retardants is prohibited in Europe and America. Pollution caused by the production of flame retardants, smoke toxicity caused by their burning, and pollution caused by plastic waste are among them. For years, efforts have been made to introduce new flame retardants. In this article, we examine two categories of flame retardants containing phosphorus and mineral retardants.
