Joana Taymesi and Maria Mahmoudi’s request to the people and human rights institutions to protest and prevent the implementation of the unjust death sentence for four Kurdish political activists by the regime of the Islamic Republic
The death sentence of four political prisoners, #Pezhman_Fatihi, #Mohsen_Mazloum, #Mohammed_Faramarzi and #Wafa_Azerbar, was issued in the courts of the Islamic Republic and in absolute silence. During the 18 months of their detention, these prisoners were deprived of all the obvious rights of a defendant, including the right to have an independent lawyer, contact and face-to-face meeting with the family.
Mohammad Faramarzi, 28 years old and from Dehgolan, Mohsen Mazloum, 27 years old and from Mahabad, Wafa Azarbar, 26 years old and from Bukan, and Pejman Fatehi, 28 years old and from Kamiyaran, on August 1, 1401, by agents of the Ministry of Information in one of the villages of the city. Urmia have been arrested and forced to disappear.
After arresting these people as usual, the security institutions broadcast the forced confessions of these four political prisoners twice on the radio and television of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
These four Kurdish political activists were sentenced to death about two months ago in an unfair trial by Branch 26 of the Tehran Islamic Revolution Court headed by Judge Iman Afshari on charges of “warfare” and “spying for Israel” and this sentence was confirmed in the court. The Supreme Court of the country has sent the execution of the Tehran court’s verdicts and there is a danger of executing the death sentence of these four Kurdish political prisoners at any moment.
