A letter to the honorable chairman of the Board of Directors of the Association of Dermatology and Sex Specialists of Iran
Dear colleague (with a degree in general medicine and dermatology!!!), greetings to you
I carefully read your statement full of things against medical ethics and the law, in defense of the gathering (suicide!!!) of dear skin assistants (Hatak) in the middle of the street and against general practitioners.
There were words in your letter, dear colleague, which is the most important reason for the legal activity of general practitioners in the field of short-term training
Studying the wounded faces of patients in the middle of the street, calling 91,000 general practitioners profiteers and using the word “interventionist” is a legitimate act, and the reason for this is spending money from the youth of Hatak’s assistants to acquire science and knowledge.
As if general doctors were not young and are not!! They did not spend many years of their youth in the university, emergency room, border villages (the same areas that have a decline for your working class, dear ones).
How many years did you study the theory and practice of skin before you became the master of this science?
You were a general practitioner, you studied for 4 years, you received dermatology specialization. All over the world, a general practitioner participates in short-term and long-term courses and performs skin work in the same course and level (these courses are not short cuts, not forging titles, not seeking profit, and not interfering! !, but it is what you studied as a general practitioner and became a specialist)
In your offices, dear ones, what percentage of practical work do your respected secretaries sometimes do? Sometimes they don’t have a diploma!!!
The important question is, why did you remain silent in front of several thousands of skin and beauty procedures per day in barbershops and homes of non-doctors with different titles?
Please publish the statistics of the complications of patients who are injured in your offices (Hatak) due to medical malpractice or dumb business!! Woe to you if general doctors with a population of 91,000 each teach you a table of complications of your work!!,, be afraid of war with the lions of men and women who, in several thousand border villages, rural health centers and emergency rooms of the country day and night. (Exactly when you are resting comfortably in your sleep) they face patients who are skin emergency and there is no news of your presence!!
You considered insults and obscenities to be your own actions and to protect the high values of medicine and protecting the rights of patients.
If from tomorrow, all the complications that are imposed on the body and life of the oppressed people in specialized dermatological clinics during days, months and years, and sometimes the violation cases, will be brought to the medical disciplinary boards together with skin patients in front of the Iranian Dermatologists Association.
Should we know that protection is the rights of patients?
