#NOTE/ #special experience: there is a lot to say :)))* For any field you want to apply for, get to know that field completely, see what the professors and children are doing, what is the purpose of that field, check the university website completely. Do it. Look at the portfolio of the students of that field, it should be completely mastered and take time because it gives you a very good view (see the recent articles of the professors, see the LinkedIn of the students of that field). Take time for the portfolio, SOP, and the emails you send. My personal experience is that if the portfolio package and SOP If you are aligned, i.e. show a single word and interest, you will get a much better result* Take the correspondence with the professors seriously even for committee-oriented courses because the professor is also in that committee anyway** If during the interview or during the email Show that you are interested and you can convince the professor that even if you don’t have any skills, you can learn it by yourself, it has a very positive effect on your acceptance and funding. * Consider the timing, too late or too soon.
