According to the announcement of the Nomadic Affairs Organization;
The purchase price of support for each kilo of live livestock of the nomads was set at 45 thousand tomans
Tehran – IRNA – Nomadic Affairs Organization announced: According to the order of the Pricing Council, the support purchase price per kilogram of live nomadic livestock has been set at 45,000 Tomans.
According to IRNA’s Sunday report from the country’s nomadic affairs organization, the pricing and adoption of support policies for basic agricultural products notified the support purchase price of nomadic livestock to the ministries of jihad, agriculture, industry, mining and trade, economic affairs and finance, and the plan and budget organization for implementation.
According to the notification of the Chairman of the Pricing Council, the support purchase price of nomadic livestock is 45,000 Tomans per kilogram of nomadic-style (combined) live livestock within the ceiling announced by the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad (Iranian Nomadic Affairs Organization).
Also, the country’s livestock support joint-stock company is designated as the purchase manager of the subject of this resolution, and Iran’s nomadic affairs organization determines the number and composition of livestock that can be purchased in nomadic areas, with priority given to drought conditions, and announces it to the purchase manager.
Therefore, according to the resolution, for every kilogram of livestock subject to this resolution, the equivalent of three kilograms of imported barley at the approved price will be delivered to the Nomadic Cooperatives Union to provide feed for the nomadic livestock.
According to IRNA, according to statistics, the nomadic community has more than 23 million live livestock, which provide 200,000 tons, equivalent to 25% of the country’s red meat.
Also, out of 64 million hectares of pastures in the country, 34 million hectares are at the disposal of the nomadic community, which this year due to the severe drought, the capacity of the pastures for livestock grazing has decreased by 1.6 million hectares, so this community needs 1.2 million tons of fodder to maintain their livestock. They need manual.
Therefore, it was decided to distribute 100,000 tons of fodder to the nomads, of which 70,000 tons will be distributed to the nomads by the end of May and 30,000 tons by the middle of June.
Out of a total of 70,000 tons of fodder, 30,000 tons of barley, 20,000 tons of corn, and 20,000 tons of soybean meal are worth 4,200 Tomans.
