4. A chicken with symptoms of yolk sac infection, including lethargy and loss of appetite, growth retardation, dehydration, abnormal droppings, etc. It shows that, at the time of diagnosing the complication, it was affected by the complications of the disease and it was too late to treat it.
5. The antibiotic capsule is packed in this way to protect the drug from the harmful effects of the patient’s stomach acid and to reach the intestine to open and spread in the body. Therefore, opening it, dissolving its contents in water and feeding it to the chicken will destroy the chemical structure due to exposure to stomach acid and the ineffectiveness of the medicine. Basically, human capsules or coated tablets, which must be opened and released after the stomach (in different parts of the intestine), are crushed and destroyed in the ostrich because they are inside the stone, and the contents inside are exposed before reaching the intestine. High acidity is caused by stomach secretions and you lose a significant percentage of your effectiveness
