It is not just about rights. A professor who has taught for thirty years must have been able to train good successors for himself, and now they must be recruited to universities or research institutes to gradually take the professor’s place and the country will not suffer an irreparable loss after the professor’s death. If someone could not or did not do this, he did not fulfill his mission and was not a good teacher.
The more important issue is that in this country there should be a way for people to leave their desks without dying. I wish this would become a culture and let our elders have successors.
