The educational system of this university is a combination of new sciences and seminary sciences. After the revolution, the properties and factories of individuals such as Habib Lajordi and Mohammad Taghi Boshar were confiscated by the revolutionaries, and the Harvard Institute was taken over and its name was changed to Imam Sadiq, and its management was given to Mohammad Reza Mahdavi Keni.

He is currently the president of this university.

Imam Sadegh University is a non-profit university that provides its expenses from the investments of Imam Al-Sadegh University Holding and Jamia Textile Factory Complex, Hayan Pharmaceutical Factory, Passage Noor and Milad Noor in Tehran, government aid and a number of Tehran markets. Although this university in the Ministry It is considered a non-profit science, but it does not charge any tuition fees from its students, and amenities such as dormitories are free in the brothers’ unit, and its food costs are the same as other public universities. In the course of several years, this university received tuition fees from some of them who obtained a “B” or “C” grade in the scientific evaluation. 2016 accepted PhD students for free and only in “A” group.
Currently, in order to be admitted to the doctoral degree in this university, it is necessary for the applicants to obtain at least 20 research points in order to be able to compete with other applicants, which is a little difficult for students and graduates of the master’s degree.
