The government of Saskatchewan invited 534 Express Entry applicants and required jobs to submit their application for selection by the province and eventually permanent residence in Canada during the new intake related to its provincial immigration program held yesterday, November 3rd. The Saskatchewan Provincial Immigration Program has selected these applicants from two subcategories of Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand; These two subcategories are express entry and required jobs. It should be noted that although having a job offer is not one of the requirements, applicants should have registered their expression of interest profile in the Saskatchewan provincial immigration program and have at least one year of experience in a qualified job related to their education.

Applicants interested in immigrating to Saskatchewan must create their EOI profile and demonstrate their ability to settle and establish a life in Saskatchewan by demonstrating work history, language skills, age and communication. The Saskatchewan Provincial Immigration Program evaluates the applicant’s profile and gives them a score out of 100 on the International Skilled Worker scoring grid. It then invites applicants with the highest scores to submit their application for permanent residence in Canada. In addition to this, the educational and professional qualifications of the applicants must be equated to determine the relationship between the qualifications obtained abroad and the Canadian qualifications.

Saskatchewan’s provincial immigration program uses the EOI system to select applicants who have the best chance of success in the local labor market. Applicants must demonstrate their commitment to building a life in Saskatchewan by demonstrating work history, education, language skills, age, and connections in the province. The Saskatchewan Provincial Immigration Program uses these five factors to evaluate applicants and gives them a score out of 100. Applicants with the highest scores are invited to apply for selection on behalf of the province of Saskatchewan, Canada.
