Daily payroll notes
Note 41: In shift work, in addition to the basic (fixed) wage, overtime is also awarded. From the point of view of the law, shift work consists of:
morning and evening 10%
Morning, evening and night 15%
morning and night 22.5%
evening and night 22.5%
Shift work is like the jobs of the police force, water and electricity services, medicine and nursing, and the like.
For example, if a worker receives 60,000 Rials per hour and works 120 hours in the morning and evening shifts, his salary is as follows:
60,000 × 120 × 1.1 = 7,920,000
As you can see, we first calculated the basic salary for 120 hours, and since the worker is a shift worker and his shifts were in the morning and evening, we multiplied by a factor of 1.1 to calculate his total salary.
The coefficient of 1.1 is the same as 10% of the morning and evening coefficient plus the fixed wage (base wage) for each hour.
Note 42: If the worker varies throughout the month, for example, some days are morning and evening, some days are morning and night, etc., to calculate the shift work coefficient, we proceed as follows:
On the first 28 days of the month, we divide the total hours worked by the worker at night by 176. If the result is close to 0.5, the shift coefficient is 5.22%, and if it is close to 0.33, it is 15%, otherwise 10 % is
Note 43: To calculate the hourly salary, we must divide the basic monthly salary agreed with the employer by 192, and then the calculated hourly salary is used to calculate night work, shift work and overtime. This leads to the hourly salary be calculated and therefore the worker gets more money, because according to the labor law, he must work 44 hours a week, which becomes 192 hours in a month, and using 220 hours causes the worker to suffer.
Note 44: A mission refers to a case in which a worker travels at least 50 kilometers away from the main workshop to perform work, or is forced to stay at least one night at the mission site. For workers who go on a mission, a mission bonus is awarded.
Note 45: The extra mission fee should not be less than the fixed man or daily basic wage of the worker. The maximum wage for the mission is not specified in the labor law, which means that the employer can pay any amount of mission fee, but it should not be less than the minimum daily wage.
