Statement of Moderation and Development Party on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution
Basma Ta’ala
This year, while Iranians are celebrating the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, this auspicious event coincides with the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution. Forty years of resistance and bravery in the direction of preserving the revolution and its precious birth, the Islamic Republic, shows that the people of this country are still determined to support the revolution and the system of the Islamic Republic until reaching the final peak of growth and progress in all material and spiritual fields. On the 40th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, it is still necessary to pay attention to the following points.
1- The Islamic revolution had a strong popular origin since the Barzhim Pahlavi struggle. The unique participation of the people in the marches during the revolution and their strong presence in the 8 years of holy defense, as well as the active and extensive participation of wise and knowledgeable people in the presidential elections, the Islamic Council, leadership experts and councils, shows the formation of a new era in the political life of Iranians, which can be He interpreted it as “religious democracy” or Iranian. The heroic and proud nation of Iran, with its 50-80% participation in all the elections held after the revolution, showed that the Islamic Republic system still has a high level of legitimacy and acceptance among the masses of the people. A great opportunity that should be appreciated. Based on this, the Moderation and Development Party believes that all the political factions of the country and the executive, legislative and judicial officials should not forget the opportunity to serve all the sacrifices and sacrifices of the Iranian nation, and their fundamental responsibility is to avoid politicking, opportunism and indulgence. to forget
2- The most important strategy of the Islamic revolution came to the fore in the strategic slogan of independence, freedom and the Islamic Republic from the very beginning of the revolution. The fact is that with its victory, the Islamic Revolution was able to end 200 years of foreign influence and domination in the country, and after two centuries, it moved the decision-making center from Moscow, London and Washington to Tehran. Iran’s political independence has been like a thorn in the eyes of the enemies of the revolution and the system for the past forty years. A new era in which Iranians were able to decide for themselves. Nevertheless, in addition to maintaining political independence as the most important achievement of the revolution, it is still necessary to make more efforts to achieve self-sufficiency in the field of economy. Although serious steps have been taken in some areas; For example, a ten-fold growth in non-point exports, an eleven-fold growth in steel, and an eighteen-fold growth in production in the automotive industry, etc., all indicate Iran’s high talent in the economic field. It should be noted that moving in the direction of self-sufficiency does not mean that we do not need human achievements and the latest technological developments and forget interaction with the world.
The second axis of the strategic slogan of the revolution has been the issue of “freedom”. In this field, it is necessary to remember that when the noble people of Iran loudly announced this point 40 years ago, above all, they meant political freedoms, which were not recognized in the previous regime. Therefore, it is assumed that this point should not be forgotten. Paying attention to the third chapter of the constitution under the title of the rights of the people should not be neglected. Regarding the third axis of the strategic slogan of the revolution, it is necessary to mention the late leader of the revolution; Hazrat Imam Khomeini (R.A.) emphasized many times that the number of votes is the nation’s vote and the Supreme Leader has always emphasized the right of the people.
