He continued: The term critical infrastructure refers to infrastructures whose destruction or dysfunction will have irreparable effects for a country in terms of national, economic, social and psychological security. 

Stating that the protection of critical infrastructures refers to the set of operations related to awareness and response to sudden incidents involving critical infrastructures, Akrami explained: Critical chemical infrastructures are an integral part of the country’s economy and consist of numerous chemical centers that form a complex. It interacts with each other and is responsible for the production, storage, transfer and use of chemicals that are based on the performance of a wide range of infrastructures. 

According to the deputy coordinator of the country’s chemical defense base, establishing security in chemical infrastructure requires vigilance and care of the public and private sector against existing and growing threats.

He stated: Education, culture building and immunity promotion are among the priorities of the country’s chemical defense field.

Dr. Akrami stated that there are 8 operational, cyber, biological, chemical, people-oriented, physical, and economic specialized camps under the country’s passive defense organization, and all these camps carry out specific measures and programs in the country according to the type and type of threats. Meidhand said: Based on the origin of the substances and the consequences of the substances, we are taking a series of measures in line with the protection of the people and the preservation of the environment and the protection of the environment in the layers of security, safety and defense.
