The betrayal of the Russians and the bursting of the bubble of the Shanghai Treaty

Friday Imam of Tehran: “Iran’s membership in the Shanghai Organization was achieved by the appointment of a Seyyed God”; Isfahan Friday Imam: “Membership in Shanghai was a great success, the future belongs to us”; Khorramabad Friday imam: “Shanghai is the greatest achievement of the 13th government”; Khorramshahr Friday Imam: “Iran’s membership in the Shanghai Organization is a failure for America”; Imam Juma Ganaveh: “Iran’s membership in Shanghai has caused Westerners to panic”; Imam Juma of Urmia: “Shanghai is a great capacity for the development of the country”.
With all these words, before the end of the week, the news came that the Foreign Minister of Russia, a powerful member of the Shanghai Pact, the same member whose Islamic Republic is an all-round ally in the war against Ukraine, in a meeting with the foreign ministers of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council countries, clearly A joint announcement questioned Iran’s ownership of its three islands. This means bursting the “Shanghai Pact” bubble.
These gentlemen who thought that Shanghai is the lifeboat of their system, I hope they have now realized that Russia not only does not value its new ally in Shanghai, but is willing to give a hand of friendship to the enemies of this government. Previously, the People’s Republic of China had done the same thing and you were fooling yourself. Let’s see what you are doing about Russia now. Probably, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, Russia will send one of the general directors of its foreign ministry to get rid of you, same as the story of the Chinese.
Nothing shows the true position of a country in the region and the world like incidents like this. The same joint statement of Russia with the member countries of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council proved that the Islamic Republic has become a second and third power in the region. lower power than Bahrain, UAE and even Kuwait.
Having the power to brag about hypersonic missiles and seizing oil tankers and taking hostages of foreign nationals and even attacking the Aramco refinery and exporting drones is not. The power of a country is related to its economic power, people’s support for its government, its foreign policy of stability, its military power, its global prestige and reputation, and many other factors. Today, Iran is in its weakest geopolitical position. Its signs are not one or two. As an Iranian, I am really sorry for my country.
