One minute study
What is Baxter syndrome?
In a scene from the movie Titanic, while the ship was seriously damaged due to the collision with the iceberg, a group of musicians were performing selected pieces of classical music on the deck of the ship!
They performed their work in the best way and made sure that the quality of their work was not affected by the existing unfavorable conditions! But in a sinking ship and among passengers who are running around in panic, what is the importance of playing classical music in the best quality?!
Another example can be from the book Castle of Animals;
According to the story of this book, the animals join hands and drive the master and his family out of the farm and take over the management of the farm. Their first task is to draw up a covenant according to which all animals are equal and no one has the right to consider himself the master and owner of others.
But nothing happens, the pig who has taken over the management of the farm, slowly changes the contract and imposes special rights and privileges for himself and those around him;
In the meantime, a horse lives in the farm named Baxter, who is respected by all the animals for his good nature, patience and perseverance. The animals ask him to help them decide on the new situation, but Baxter is busy working and not paying attention to his surroundings.
His slogan is: I work! And he feels that he should do his job in the best way and not have anything else to do!
Although Baxter could have prevented the terrible incident that happened in the animal castle, he was so conscientious and honorable in his work that he only found out about the changes when the ruling pig sold him to a slaughterhouse!
In the course of life, there are people who are so passionate about their work and expertise that they forget which way this whole life, organization or country is moving!
Many smart and hard-working people get Baxter’s syndrome and forget the correct and timely direction.
Baxter The congregations are good and honorable people, but they are focused on the wrong priority.
