The head of the Civil and Urban Development Commission of the Islamic Council of Mashhad added: Also, the most requested from me since I have been working in the council is the issue of employment, most of which are in the field of urban planning and architecture. Of course, in the field of employment, different groups should work hand in hand because only the city management is not responsible in this field.
Referring to the direct relationship between the record of the construction market and the decrease in the demand for the employment of architects in this field, he noted: based on the available information, the field of architecture ranks third in the number of Mashhad university graduates, which is a very high figure.
Mehdinia also pointed to the working process of the Fifth Council during the last year and a half and said: Experts, veterans and professors are honored in the public halls of the Council on various occasions such as the day of lawyers, journalists, doctors, engineers and architects. and in this regard, prominent architects of the city were honored both on this year’s and last year’s Architect’s Day.
He considered the performance of the Fifth Council in the field of urban planning and architecture as one of the other issues to be considered during the last year and a half and stated: Currently, traces of the specialized field of architecture can be seen everywhere in the city, and large projects and issues such as texture The surroundings of Motahar Razavi Shrine, Shahada Square plan, urban regeneration, affordable housing and discussion of image and urban landscape are on the special agenda of the Civil and Urban Development Commission of the Islamic Council of Mashhad.
He considered the development of the construction industry as one of the priorities of the fifth term of the Islamic Council of Mashhad and stated: Today, the approval of the development of the construction industry by providing appropriate incentives can bring good things in the field of architecture and urban planning.
