The implementation of the tunnel-underpass construction project along Ostad Moin Street is gaining speed
The Director General of Engineering and Civil Engineering Organization of Tehran announced that the necessary preparations have been made to speed up the execution of the tunnel-underpass construction project along Ostad Moin Street.
Engineer Ehsan Noushabadi, while announcing the above news, added: due to the revision of the previous plan of the underpass along Ostad Mo’in Street and the decision to pass a tunnel across Azadi Street, the excavation and construction of 63 new pile rings has started on the northern front of the project, of which 8 The pile ring has been drilled and 22 pile rings have been drilled and concreted.
He also stated that the necessary preparations have been made for the construction of a 900 square meter section of the underpass concrete slab on the south side of the project (Shahid Akbari Street), and reminded that the reinforcement operation of this section of the underpass roof will begin soon.
The CEO of the Engineering and Civil Engineering Organization of Tehran city, while explaining the measures taken to resolve the installation conflicts of the project, announced the implementation of the replacement network of telecommunication cables on Ostad Moin Street and said: the only installation conflicts of the project for which the construction of the replacement network has not yet been completed include The 700 mm pipe is water, and it is expected that the necessary measures in this field will be put on the agenda in the coming days following the blocking of the eastern bypass of Ostad Moin Street and asphalt and the opening of the western bypass of this intersection.
It should be mentioned that with the operation of this tunnel project, while increasing the capacity of the north-south roads of the region, the traffic of Azadi Street traffic jams will be reduced and the traffic situation along the Yadgar-e-Imam highway will be improved. Establishing the connection of Ostad Moin Street with the neighborhoods north of Azadi Street has caused this transport passage to get out of the existing deadlock, and in this way, commuting between the neighborhoods of Districts 2 and 9 of Tehran Municipality will be facilitated.
