Important points of the laminar hood for the cell tester
- The standard size of the filters at the time of changing the filter made it not incur more costs and a long time to prepare the filter.
- H14 filter has 99.99% efficiency and H13 filter has 99.98% efficiency.
- In 15 cm filters, air passes with less pressure than 7 cm filters, the lower this pressure and the effort to pass through the filter, the less likely particles are to leave the filter, 7 cm filters are better than 15 cm filters.
- Axial fans are not suitable for laminar hoods because the possibility of burns increases due to the filling of the filter, they keep the amount of air circulation lower than the standard and do not have enough power to pass the air through the filter.
- The UV and filter lifetime counter must have the ability to record the operating hours of the device. The UV light is always blue and its penetration power can only be determined from the operating hours.
- The steel of the bottom of the hood must be 304 or 316. Test whether the steel is non-stick and the amount of carbon with a magnet. If the magnet sticks, non-stick steel is not used and the bottom of the device will rot.
