The head of Tehran Real Estate Union said: The government should entrust the implementation of this plan to the private sector, but until today, it has not entrusted the follow-up of this plan to the private sector.

He stated that if the government itself invests in the implementation of the renovation plan of worn-out structures, it will not be successful, and said: Governments will never be good businessmen, but they are strong observers.

Khosravi emphasized: The government should put the renovation of worn-out fabrics on its agenda by monitoring the private sector.

In response to another question about receiving tax from empty houses, the head of Tehran Real Estate Union said: Tax from empty houses costs a lot for the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

He clarified: In the past, a plan to identify empty houses was carried out, but unfortunately, due to the fact that they did not implement the correct methods to identify these houses, this plan did not succeed.

Khosravi reminded: During the discussions held by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, it has been decided that a software will be designed to identify these houses and each residential unit will receive a code.

The head of Tehran Real Estate Union stated that he still does not approve of 2 million and 500 thousand uninhabited residential units and said: We hope that with the introduction of this software we will be able to reduce the number of uninhabited units.
