The Armenian community of Region 8 hosted the Governor of Tehran
The second service table for the Armenian community was held during the New Year in the presence of the Governor of Tehran and the managers of the executive bodies of Tehran Province in the Church of Saint Gregory of District 8.
According to the public relations report of Region 8 Municipality; The mayor of the region, Fatemeh Taneh, announced this news: in the days leading up to the birth of Christ and the beginning of the new year, region 8, with the presence of more than 15 thousand people from the Armenian community, initially organized a service desk with the presence of the mayor of Tehran to deal with requests and The problems of this group of citizens set up the second service table in this area in the church of Saint Gregory with the presence of Dr. Alireza Fakhari, the governor of Tehran, and the managers of the water and sewage company, the electricity, gas, telecommunications department, the relief and education committee in order to serve. It was held to this group of citizens.
The mayor of District 8 further added: Following the past meetings with Armenian citizens, many of the issues and requests of these loved ones are beyond the authority and responsibilities of the Tehran Municipality, and we decided to inform these loved ones in coordination with the Armenian representative in the Islamic Council. Executive officials of Tehran province should also be established.
Regarding the issues raised in this public meeting, Taneh clarified: Armenian citizens have their issues and problems in the field of water and sewage, the need for help and assistance from the Tehran Provincial Relief Committee to some citizens, issues related to the lighting of the roads and main streets that are available to them. It is not a municipality, they had requests that the governor of Tehran ordered the executive directors to provide the necessary assistance in this regard.
In this meeting, Alireza Fakhari, the governor of Tehran, along with his executive directors, responded to the questions and requests of other citizens regarding the monitoring of real estate companies in the city, how to distribute bank loans for marriage and housing, and the need to accompany citizens in the optimal use of water.
It should be noted that at the end of this ceremony, the families of two martyrs of the Armenian community, Alfred Gebari and Zurik Moradian, and Albert Mahmoudi, a 50% veteran, were honored by the Governor of Tehran.
