It is clear and evident to everyone that the medical staff of the country supported the health of the people during the most difficult days of the Corona pandemic and before that with the least facilities, so they should not be blamed for paying attention to social responsibility and fulfilling their professional duties, including the painful events of recent weeks. , looking for the death of Mehsa Amini in prison or such security treatment against him.
The members of the medical community have stepped forward with good intentions and only with a sense of responsibility towards their medical oath and in the direction of reforming affairs and paying attention to the public interests of the country, and their gathering and issuing a statement was also in this direction, and as in the public relations notice. Mashhad University of Medical Sciences has announced that the arrested people did not have any private complaints. Therefore, the behavior of the judicial and security apparatus of the country with this segment of the society, who are among the country’s elite and chosen ones, is unnecessary, excessive and outside the social norms and dignity of this society.
It should be accepted that these security measures, including sending warning text messages and summoning a large number of members of the medical community and finally arrests, have dealt a fatal blow to the tired and hardworking body of the country’s medical community, as the main custodians of the community’s health. , which cannot be compensated by those involved in the country’s executive affairs except by accepting the mistake, compensating for the damages and paying attention to the public demands of this group.
Therefore, it is hoped that with the signing of this statement and subsequent follow-up by the respected members of the country’s medical community, the national and university officials will also publicly show their goodwill and sense of responsibility towards the medical staff and lead to the unconditional release of the members of the medical community. and on the other hand, to announce their operational and executive plans to correct the issues and demands mentioned in the statement published in the gathering on 28 Mehr 1401 by the members of the medical community of Mashhad.
Finally, the medical community of the country, maintaining its trust in the good will of the country’s high authorities to reform matters through dialogue and within the framework of the country’s civil laws, has written and published this open letter and presented a public petition, and from a large number of colleagues who intend to have been on strike and sit-in. colleagues.
Naturally, the patience of the society is not unlimited, and if the public wishes of this society are not paid attention to, the social and civil consequences of the collapse of public trust in the ruling structure and the spread of the feeling of the need for change at the level of the society will be directed at those in charge and out of the control of the medical community and the signatories. This letter is out and sooner or later based on public opinion and will, it will be realized in ways that cannot be predicted and planned.
