Let’s make Iran Iran for everyone

Mohammad Jalali; Asr Iran

This year’s Yalda was held on Thursday and Friday. Some believed that since Yalda night is Friday night and the next day is the first working day, they should celebrate Thursday for autumn Yalda, and some stayed awake on Friday with their families.

Considering the economic situation this year, Yalda didn’t seem to be more colorful than usual, but the colorful tables on social networks indicated that everyone came to show off their tables! Everything was from Yalda watermelon, Yalda nuts and even Yalda pistachios! Maybe Yalda means delicious food for us! Of course, some people celebrate this Eid together with them.

On Thursday night, I decided to go to the park near our neighborhood with my family; These days, the municipality came and placed a light tunnel there, and in fact, it was the first night of its opening. I took several photos in it, as is the custom of us Iranians these days, and shared the photos on Instagram.

Various messages were received, from the beauty of the tunnel to the importance of it, and it would be better to do more basic work!

I was happy that the city was beautified by a structure that may not last as long as Yalda.

In the middle of this message, I was sent a message.

hello Is this optical tunnel free or does it have to be paid for?

Surprised, I said: Free

Thank God, a new program was arranged for my children on Yalda night.

I asked with surprise, shouldn’t your Yalda be the Yalda of the family? Don’t you have grandparents?

He did not answer my question and wrote late:

I have a question, do you know someone who can help us? My husband is in financial debt and is going to report himself to prison at the beginning of the week.

He opened the conversation: he started a business, but lack of experience and what we call divine destiny caused him to fail in his work. He borrowed about 50 million tomans, but now he has to pay 100 million tomans according to the agreement he made.

It seemed that money was out of the ordinary, or as we say, it had fallen. Although I did not ask any questions.

He continued: Yalda is good for a house where her father is present! I have two children, 6 and 12 years old. I sew, but these days this economic situation has cut off our safety.

The next day, I did a brief check on its validity and I asked everyone I knew for help so that maybe the knot of their problems could be untied.

I did not break my promise and did not post a picture of Yalda’s table so that the 6-year-old child and the 12-year-old teenager, whose mother is probably one of the followers of my page, would not compare my not so colorful table with their empty table.

The story of our life these days is a strange story; You have no story and grief! Yalda is over for Nedara, but winter has just started and I wish we could look for the poor people in our neighborhood to help them and solve their problems regardless of what the government is doing, what it should do, and what it will do.

Our country has many rich people and we must do something to make Iran an Iran for everyone.

We should all look for a celebration for everyone, it doesn’t matter if the table is small or big, what is important is the celebration that should be held. Maybe the next celebration will be the ancient Nowruz celebration. From today, we can make a promise to ourselves that we can help everyone we love so that their problems are the least of their worries. The text is a little long, but it is worth thinking about.
