How to study the English course for the entrance exam

At the entrance exam level, where the range of vocabulary is almost clear, the language course is somewhat memorizing and in some aspects, if it is not reviewed and repeated, it is evasive.

In the following, I will remind you of important points for studying the language:

1- Prepare a comprehensive book to start studying.

In each lesson, read the final words first. Try not to just memorize the words and understand their meaning well.
After studying the vocabulary, try to take some vocabulary tests.

2- After studying the words, it is time for grammar.

Maybe the whole grammar of the entrance exam in English and what you really need to answer the entrance exam questions is not more than three or four pages.

Never look for books or bulky pamphlets to learn grammar. Even the textbook itself is a good source for practicing and learning grammar. Be sure to pay attention to the sentences in the textbook because the tests are designed based on the grammatical rules of these sentences.

After this stage, you can answer at least ten language tests and get at least 40% marks. without having seen the text or cloze test.

3- After you have mastered the vocabulary and grammar of a lesson, it is time to practice the cloze test and the text.
You must practice and test for both of these cases.

In the cloze test, you will encounter blank spaces that are designed in such a way that you feel that all four options can be the answer to the question. But you should try to choose the right option. Be sure to read the sentence after the blank space to get a better understanding of the topic.

In the last test of the cloze tests, a grammar question is usually asked, and by the way, the answer to most of these tests is an option that contains an unknown verb!

But to succeed in text tests, you must have a special strategy

The fastest and most efficient method is to read the questions first, so that you can get to know the subject a little first and be able to quickly go into the text and find the answers. Another advantage of this method is that some questions that are asked from the text are only They can be solved with the general information you have! That is, when you read the question, you will understand that maybe it is related to the text, but you can answer it without reading the text!

This is a test trick from the designers so that the time of those who go to the text first is wasted.

If you want to start the text first, if you are obsessed and read word by word, understand and analyze, you are wasting your time and only after that you should go to the questions, go back to the text to find the answer!

These going back and forth cause a lot of time wasting and loss of opportunity.

Many people read the first and last sentence first and then go to the questions. This is another method.

You can find your suitable strategy in practice tests and use it in the entrance exam.
