According to Shata’s report, Ali Rasoulian stated in the meeting to review the development of solar energy in the towns and industrial areas of the country: With the decision of the General Assembly of the Organization of Small Industries and Industrial Towns of Iran, this organization has been authorized to create or develop up to five specialized energy towns or industrial areas. He continued in this regard: According to this resolution, the Organization of Small Industries and Industrial Towns of Iran is authorized to transfer lands for the creation or development of specialized solar energy towns and industrial areas or a part of the land at the disposal of the towns and industrial areas and special economic zones. Under its cover, by providing minimum infrastructure services and in 10-year installments, to establish solar power plants to provide part of the electricity needed by towns and industrial areas.
Referring to the interaction and synergy of this organization with the Ministry of Energy, Deputy Minister Samet said: We have full coordination with the Renewable Energy and Electricity Efficiency Organization (SATBA) in this field.
Rasoulian stated: The National Environment Fund (under the supervision of the Environment Agency) also provides facilities and credits in order to support green and renewable energy (solar) to reduce emissions, which production units located in towns and industrial areas from They can also use these facilities and credits.
He also emphasized the necessity of providing the necessary incentives and facilities for the use of solar energy in towns and industrial areas across the country and the development of industrial towns using this technology and said: the expansion and use of solar energy especially in towns and industrial areas located in deprived and less privileged areas should be taken into consideration.
