Politeness
In general, we have a structural problem in the country, which is also a problem in the poultry sector. In the whole world, the research and development sector includes 4% of the company’s budget, but this budget in Iran is 0.009% of the total company’s budget!
From the time we opened our eyes, the refrigerator was the same as before, until now you know their condition! Or in the case of the automobile industry, compare it with the quality and variety of products of the world’s successful automobile manufacturers!!!! This is the price of not valuing science and knowledge!
In Canada, corn is not used in most broiler farms! Or other countries will not lose if they have a reasonable local solution to reduce costs! But we have a famous saying among breeders: I got the answer and that means what I know is right and the rest are all wrong! I shared the result of this thinking at the beginning of my speech.
The solutions that seem to me to reduce the cost:
1) Studying authentic books about the principles of health and biosecurity and how to properly implement them in the farm. By learning and following these principles, you can prevent the occurrence of disease, considering that the principle of breeding is prevention. Having an experienced veterinarian consultant is a must for an industrial farm. Unfortunately, some friends in Telegram are looking to learn treatment and diagnosis solutions so that they can become a veterinarian for a month and give advice! Let everyone do their own thing.
2) Another important issue in cost reduction is feed cost management. The principle in industrial farm feeding is to achieve maximum performance in the least possible time and with the least feed cost. One of our problems in exporting and not being able to compete with other countries is the high cost of production! Breeding with expensive feed is not an art, it should be possible to kill at the same age but with the least possible cost. We do not do decorative work and every decision must be justified from an economic point of view. Of course, I don’t mean breeding with vegetable waste and similar things. However, other internal flours and inputs as well as by-products with analysis and production by reputable companies can be used to reduce costs without increasing fattening period or reducing weight. But using these items requires knowledge and skills in ration writing. Writing the ration up and down manually is not worth a few pens in the ration, and I recommend that breeders use an expert and nutrition consultant on the farm. The use of the ration writer and nutrition-breeding expert does not cost the farm and is free because the expert gets his salary from cost reduction, not the farm budget! Due to the lack and increase in the price of imported inputs, the importance of this issue will be fully realized.
3) The last discussion in my case is about the smart purchase of micronutrients. Considering the high cost of analysis of this sector, it is very important to buy from a reliable company with a long history. Know the needs of ostriches and use supplements and concentrates that meet those needs at a reasonable price. Creating a telegram group and making fake ads with several accounts and using some people in any way for advertising does not show the quality of the product and the credibility of the producer!
With respect to the opinion of all my friends, I have shared what I think is useful.
