1) Shape comparison
Although internet voting provides the possibility of wider participation of people without the need to visit in person, but due to the slowness of the internet platform, the lack of familiarity of some people with the net space and the problems of the central server can prevent the participation of many interested people in the election. vote
Also, the possibility of one person taking ID and password of several people and voting instead of them is much higher than voting of people instead of each other in presence, for example, the head of the medical system of a city or province or the head of a university or departments such as social security and hospitals. They can put the cities and people under their control in trouble and appoint some people to vote for them by taking ID and password of their colleagues.
2) Substantive comparison
Traditional elections take place by collecting tariffs, writing votes, putting them in the box and counting the votes at the end.
If there is no problem with the number and application of tariffs, and if the observers and the executive board are impartial in counting the votes, the accuracy of the election is guaranteed, but
Electronic elections have some ambiguities that are more worrying, for example, the person, person or company who is the administrator claims that he does not have access to the percentage of votes of the candidates until the end of the election, but which independent and knowledgeable authority confirms this claim?
Who will notice if the admin creates a secret and wonderful feature for himself that can manipulate or add and remove votes?
What is the guarantee that hostile and illegal people will not hack this system with any intention, how many security holes will there be in this system?
In traditional elections, it is possible to check the correctness of the elections by referring to the fund, investigating the observers and recounting the votes if necessary, but in electronic elections, it is not the job of every expert to discover security holes and hidden programmed facilities, and in case of a complaint and discovery Basic and correct information will not be accessible
Most importantly, if it is revealed years later that these softwares are espionage, not safe, and the existence of fraud, not only the organizers of the elections will be questioned, but also all elected officials and the legitimacy of the organization, its activities, contracts, and disciplinary orders will be questioned. And the credibility and social trust of the organization will be destroyed.
Therefore, until the establishment of a suitable platform for electronic elections by authorities such as the Islamic Council, the government, and the Ministry of Interior, and the normalization of this type of voting in society and the discovery of its shortcomings, it is not advisable for the medical system elections to be held electronically, and it is better, dear colleagues, to refer Accept the presence at the polls against the doubts in internet voting.
