Types of deletion
Delete by analogy
If the deletion is done due to repetition and to avoid it, we call it “deletion by verbal analogy”.
Example 1
“There are two blessings in every breath and gratitude for every blessing
Obligatory >> remove the verb “is” in the second sentence by analogy.
Example 2
“I went home and studied and ate and slept.”
The word “I” has been removed from the beginning of the second, third, and fourth sentences.
(I went, I read, I ate, I slept)
Removal by spiritual analogy
If the reader or listener realizes the removed part from the meaning, we call that removal as “spiritual affinity”.
Example 1
“The higher the roof, the more snow”
Eliminating the verb “is” or the verb “is” for spiritual analogy,
“The higher the roof, the more snow.”
Example 2
“By your life, I will.”
Removing “I swear” to the spiritual analogy,
“I swear to you, I will do it.”
Types of “Ra”:
⏺ 1- Object “ra”: this type of “ra” comes after the explicit object.
We didn’t know that we didn’t change the opportunity, we killed this wild chicken (Parvin Etisami)
⏺ 2- “ra” of the prepositional phrase or instead of a fraction or superlative sign: sometimes there is a separation between the superlative and the superlative and their place is changed, the fraction is removed and “ra” comes in its place.
Malek was upset. (Saadi) means: the heart of Malik
⏺ 3- “ra” of the preposition: it is used in the meaning of one of the prepositions, and from the context of the word, the type of preposition is clear, which is usually one of the additional letters “for, to, from, in, on”.
3-1- “ra” means “for”:
Let me say a few words about expediency. (Saadi)
That is: for expediency
2-3- “ra” means “to”:

⏺ 4- “Ra” for strengthening the institution: In past texts, there is a type of “ra” after the institution, which is called strengthening the institution. Some consider it redundant:
which makes us very sad during this time. (golden fish)
⏺ 5- “ra” in the meaning of “emphasis letter”: this type of ra is apparently redundant, but some grammarians believe that it is unlikely to use it without the will of a special meaning, so they have taken it as “ra” for emphasis.
Even though I am impatient, I will take two days for expediency (Saadi).
⏺ 6- “Ra” of “Qasm wa Straham”: This comes in the meaning of “for the sake of” and in this case the accompanying word is a complement, not an object:
You said veiled words with God’s opponents, remove the veil from the saddle of a riddle (Hafiz)
That is: for God’s sake
⏺ 7- “ra” in the concept of the possessive pronoun “it”:
What do you want for the Day of Resurrection? Our friend and all the blessings of your paradise
⏺ 8- “Rai” verb conversion: This “ra” comes with the infinitive verbs “to be” and changes the meaning of the verb to “have”, so it is called verb conversion.
The sky is right, if you cry blood on the earth (Saadi)
That is: the sky is right.
⏺ 9- “Ra” of “allocation and exclusivity”: it comes in the meaning of special and exclusive.
