A senior lung specialist said: 4 to 6 percent of medical students are addicted to smoking when they enter the university, but in the last year of study, this figure reaches 22 percent.

This lung specialist stated: A study was conducted on students entering medical schools, which showed that in the first year of entering these students, 2.5% of female students and 4-6% of male students use tobacco, but the unfortunate thing is that after 7 year and while all these students are familiar with the dangers and harms of tobacco in their courses, this statistic has increased, based on it, more than 22% of final year male students and 17% of female students use tobacco and hookah.
Masjedi pointed out: Only having health literacy is not enough in self-care, and if we implement this information, then we can say that we have done the right thing in self-care.
He emphasized: We all know that sugar consumption is harmful to our health, but unfortunately, high consumption of sweets and chocolates threatens our health and we do not make any effort to avoid using it.
This lung specialist pointed to the debate that is being discussed in the parliament today and added: It is a matter of regret that coffee houses are converted from private places to public places because with this issue we are threatening the health of all people.
