Indeterminate sentences in English are one of the most important parts of English grammar and are very widely used in English. In other words, indefinite sentences in English are much more frequent and widely used than in Persian. For this reason, it is very important to learn them and how to use them in English sentences.
In known sentences, the subject or the doer is known, but in unknown sentences, the subject of the sentence is not clear!

Indeterminate sentences have different tenses. In this section, we will discuss them:
simple present indefinite sentence;

(Known) He makes butter from milk

Was/were+p.p+object
Sara cleaned the house last week

(Anonymous) The house was cleaned last week

present continuous
Am/is/are+being+p.p+object

past continuous
Was/were+being+p.p+object
(Known) He was cleaning the house when I arrived
When I arrived she was cleaning the house
(Anonymous) The house was being cleaned when I arrived
When I arrived, the house was being cleaned
present perfect
Have/has+been+p.p+object
(Known) He has stolen my car
