Now let’s take a look at why coalitions are formed and their goals before and after the elections
One type of coalition is that they get together and distribute the election expenses, and these are the same group 1 and 3 candidates who only became candidates to be known and a little arrogant, of course, who are well-known among friends and acquaintances, so they must be well-known in the engineering community (of course, in these coalitions, there are few group 1s, mostly group 3s).
The second type of coalitions is completely purposeful, from the beginning they determine the chairman and the board of directors, and the division of people into the posts of the disciplinary council and inspectors and the specialized group, the welfare fund, the advisory council for resolving organizational disputes before the elections. Even some influential employees in the elections, especially representatives of small towns and cities, are promised promotions or stabilization of positions or salary increases, etc. They give and with the help of these people they start collecting votes and finally if they get a list of votes or at most the board members belong to this coalition, they can put the desired board of directors in office and implement all their promises because if this deal is not made, they will not have a vote in the next election period. Referring to the previous periods, the placements in the organization are clearly evident.
The third type is of people who have a few well-known people and are traditional and are mainly veteran engineers of the organization. Sometimes they have been in management positions or board membership in the past and they form a coalition again so that they can help the organization in terms of management and the status of the engineering system. The point is that the slogan of this group of people is that the engineering community should feel the need to use experienced managers + young people. Therefore, they believe that an intelligent person and manager does not need to beg for a ballot or trade his honor if they are to be trusted by the mature engineering community. They know how to choose themselves. So that the upper management of the organization can implement its goals.
The fourth group of coalitions is formed with one or two well-known and young people. The purpose of this type of coalition is to collect the votes of unknown engineer candidates for the known ones. Let me give you an example. I, Iman Sarvi, became a candidate. I know in all respects that I have 1000 votes, but it is not enough to qualify for the elections. What should I do? Because the election results are important!!!
So I form a coalition and attract 15 engineers and fresh candidates who are motivated to be in the elections and are active and more motivated. The third group of candidates have an average of 100 votes (looking at the quality of the candidate is not the criterion, the quantity of their votes is the criterion for me to reach the organization’s board of directors). Therefore, if I get 100 votes from each of them, I will have 1000 votes, and you will have 2500 votes.
In this group, determining the board of directors is not very important because in practice, the majority vote was not imposed and they did not make any promises to anyone. The goal is only one to five members of the group.
Well, didn’t we know this before the election, so what happened?
