The text of Shahr Bank’s response to the head of Tehran Engineering System Organization

Following the contents stated in a part of your Excellency’s press conference on 7/13/1395 and the contents that were listed during this meeting regarding Shahr Bank and your comments on the criminal complaint of Tehran Province Engineering Organization against this bank and published in some media And considering the falseness and baselessness of the said content, it declares the following:

1- The actions of the branch announced by your Excellency in granting facilities and obtaining documents and setting up banking contracts are fully in accordance with the regulations of the Central Bank and within the framework of the laws.

2- The pledge of the deposit of the Engineering System Organization of Tehran province was based on the request and agreement of the board of directors of that organization and the receiving facility, which was also done within the scope of the Central Bank regulations.

3- The signing and sealing of the verification contract was done according to the customs of the banking system and no forgery was done by the branch, but the claim of forgery is a dispute between the two current and previous boards of directors of the engineering system organization of Tehran province, which is in the stage of examination.

It is pointed out that the complaint of that organization against the board of directors of the Engineering System Organization of Tehran Province is being processed in the respected investigation and has not yet resulted in the issuance of a verdict. In the disputes between the two boards of directors, the publication of lies is considered and this bank reserves the right to take legal action.
