Hakim Omar Khayyam Nishaburi
Complete biography of Khayyam
Omar Khayyam Neishaburi (full name: Ghiyat al-Din Abul Fatah Omar bin Ibrahim Khayyam Neishaburi) (born on 28 May 427 in Neishabur – died on 12 December 510 in Neishabur) who is also called Khayami, Khayyam Neishaburi and Khayami al-Nisaburi, omniscient, philosopher, mathematician, astronomer And it is an Iranian quartet in the Seljuk period. Although Khayyam’s scientific base is higher than his literary status and his nickname was “Hujjat al-Haq”, his reputation is mostly due to the motivation of writing his quatrains, which are world famous. In addition to the fact that Khayyam’s quatrains have been translated into most living languages, Edward Fitzgerald has translated his quatrains into English, which has made him more famous in the West.

One of his most prominent works can be considered as organizing and overseeing the Iranian chronology calculations during the ministry of Khwaja Nizam al-Mulk, which was during the reign of Malik Shah Seljuq (426-490 AH); The calculations attributed to Omar Khayyam in this field are still valid and have a much higher accuracy than the Gregorian calendar. He was a professor in mathematics, astronomy, literary, religious and historical sciences. Hakim Khayyam’s role in solving cubic equations and his studies on Euclid’s fifth principle have recorded his name as an outstanding mathematician in the history of science. Finding a theory about ratios equivalent to Euclid’s theory is also one of his most important works.
A number of tazkira authors have called Khayyam a student of Ibn Sina, and some have called him a student of Imam Mowafq Nishaburi. The truth of this hypothesis that Hakim Khayyam was Ibn Sina’s student is very far from the mind, because they have undergone a lot of transformation together over time. Hakim Omar Khayyam somewhere considers Ibn Sina as his teacher, but this teacher of Ibn Sina has a spiritual side.

Quatrains of Khayyam
You don’t like the sarcasm of a drunkard
Don’t rely on tricks and tricks
You don’t know what you eat in the mountain
A hundred mouthfuls that you are a slave to

Although the color and smell are beautiful
Because the tulips and the cedars are high above me
It did not turn out that in the soil threshing floor
How beautiful is the painter of eternity

Khayyam’s poems
The cloud came and cried over the green again
You should not live without purple wind
This brunette is our audience today
Who is watching until the green of our soil?

Now that the flower of your happiness is fruitful
Why is he unemployed?
It is a time of treacherous enmity
It is difficult to find such a day

Today you are not available tomorrow
And the thought of tomorrow is nothing but speculation
Don’t waste it, you are not crazy
Kain is priceless for the rest of his life
