April 18, the anniversary of the execution of Amir Abbas Hoyda

One of the most impressive and lasting images of the 57 revolution is the image of the body of Amir Abbas Hoyda, which came out of the drawer of the mortuary, along with the gaze and smile of revolutionaries holding guns on Hoyda’s body. He wanted to write the 25-year history of Iran. In his last defense, he said: “I’m not saying I was innocent. I also did useful things. Lighten up. I want to write the 25-year history of Iran; Let me write.” Sadegh Khalkhali, a court judge and Sharia ruler, writes in his memoirs: “I said that there will be many historians after this, and we were light and heavy. We have seen that he is the corrupter of the earth.”

Hoyda, who was the prime minister of Iran for 13 years and was in charge of the longest term of office in the history of Iran after the constitution, was killed on April 18, 1358. Although two court hearings were held for Hoyda, that court was not a place to hold “Dadd”. Howeida was convicted in the court for the crime of “corrupting the earth”, but there are different accounts of how Howeida was killed.

Khalkhali, as the ruler of Sharia, describes the day of the Hoyda court as follows: “On that day, I ordered all the doors to be closed, I collected the phones of the prison and the court and put them in a refrigerator and locked the door so that no one would pry into my work. “Perhaps because once this “fudge” had prevented the execution of Amir Abbas Hoyda.”

“Mohammed Tousli”, the first mayor of Tehran after the revolution, mentions Hoyda’s murder as “terror” and says: “After the court session was over, as is common, in the same corridor where Mr. Hoyda was moving, Hadi Ghaffari He attacked with a colt.” This story is also confirmed by Ebrahim Yazdi: “The court session, which is being breathed, in the corridor, one of the Rouhani gentlemen – who was there and I do not want to mention his name – killed Hoyda with his own revolver. Khalkhali, who is informed, sees that the matter is over, Mr. Hoyda is placed on a chair, the sentence is read to him, and then he is taken and executed.” But Hadi Ghaffari rejects this claim and says that he had no role in the Hoyda case: “No one but Mr. Khalkhali and God knows who killed Hoyda.”

But, who was Hoyda and what did he do? Read on:
