This plan has many supporters and opponents, and many times they have tested strategic products for themselves by implementing various projects! But so far, due to various reasons, not much success has been achieved! How can this question be answered? The answer is the need to fully understand the agricultural capacity of the country, and this knowledge can only be evaluated through land surveying and determining the cultivation pattern. will be defeated again! Whether the theory of producing strategic products is possible in the country or not, in a macro view, it can be said that yes, this capacity exists in Iran’s agriculture, but the definitive answer cannot be given so easily without the studies that have been presented! What can be said with certainty is the increase in productivity in the production of agricultural products! So, if we focus on productivity, we will reach a solution and the position of agricultural production in the country’s macro economy will be redefined.
With this introduction, I have to say that since the time of the sanctions, there is no way for the producers of the agricultural sector to overcome this challenge except to increase the efficiency and quality!! As an observer and activist of the agriculture sector, I have witnessed the increase in productivity, which was less paid attention to before the sanctions, the customs statistics show that we witness the growth of the export of agricultural products every year, and the reports of the Ministry of Agriculture indicate an increase in agricultural products, from the consumption side. Farmers also see the quality of agricultural products in the market, in the end, I would like to say that there is still a long way to reach favorable conditions, and this goal will not be achieved unless the rate of investment, research and development, training, development of food industries and that in the introduction It has been addressed, due to the length of the discussion, I will not take up the time of friends, I hope that an opportunity will be provided so that the dimensions of the production of agricultural products and its role in food security will reach the friends.
