To withdraw from studies, you have to pay a fine, which varies according to the level of education. The cost of withdrawing from education is calculated according to the following formulas:

Associate Degrees, Non-Continuous Bachelor’s Degrees, Non-Continuous Master’s Degrees:
(number of registered semesters-4) × (half fixed tuition fee)

Continuous undergraduate degree:
 (number of registered semesters – 8) × (half fixed tuition fee)

Professional doctorate degree (veterinary medicine):
(number of registered semesters-12) × (half fixed tuition fee)

Professional doctorate degree (medicine):
The total basic tuition of the remaining academic semesters until the end of the course

Expected Ph.D.:
(number of registered semesters-7) × (half fixed tuition fee)

Expected Ph.D. entry 94 onwards:
(number of registered semesters-6) × (half fixed tuition fee)

Specialized assistance:
The total tuition fee remaining until the end of the course

If the difference between the above numbers becomes zero or negative, you will not be required to pay a fine. For example, if you have studied 5 semesters in an associate degree, you can withdraw without paying a penalty.

Undergraduate students must pay the withdrawal fee to receive an associate degree.

Students who want to enroll in another unit of Azad University after withdrawing from the university, are not required to pay a fine or withdrawal fee, but they must submit a certificate of registration in the second university unit to the first university.

New incoming students (except for professional doctorate students of the Department of Medicine) if, after registering in person, he withdraws from his field of study and university before October 30th for the first semester entrances and before February 30th for the second semester entrances. , will not be subject to fines.

New incoming students (except for the students of the professional doctorate course of the Department of Medicine) if, after registering in person, they withdraw from their field of study and university by December 30th for the first semester entrances and May 31st for the second semester entrances, 50% The total tuition fee (basic and variable) will be collected and the rest will be refunded.

Students who have permission from the central organization to change their field or orientation are not subject to paying the withdrawal fee.

Students who have taken a leave of absence from the university in the first semester, if they withdraw before enrolling in the second semester, they will not be liable to pay a fine, but their tuition fees will not be refunded.
