Recently, a letter prohibiting the movement of animals in the provinces has been issued by the veterinary medicine, which has limited any movement of animals between the provinces.

Officials of livestock production unions say that this letter is one of the important factors in increasing the price of meat in the market despite the surplus production.

Last week, the price of meat reached a record and reached 165,000 tomans per kilogram of sheep thigh, and the price of veal meat also increased to 120,000 tomans per kilo.

The text of the letter prohibiting the movement of livestock between provinces, which was issued by the general veterinary departments of the provinces, is as follows:

“Please make an arrangement until further notice to issue a certificate for live livestock (light and heavy) to border provinces (including West Azarbaijan
