Soybean meal is the most common and important protein supplement in poultry nutrition, the only limiting amino acid of which is methionine, and it has well-balanced amino acids for poultry. Since the production of soy has a high economic cost due to the use of most broiler chicken farmers and the limited area under cultivation, therefore, the use of its substitutes has been receiving increasing attention. The use of rapeseed meal, cotton seed meal and whey powder (lacto-serum powder) as substitutes for soybean meal in poultry feed is economical and reduces the cost of poultry feed. Therefore, it is of interest. Rapeseed meal can be consumed in terms of being rich in sulphurous amino acids (cysteine and methionine) and vitamins, without any adverse effects on broilers, as well as cotton seed meal, which is rich in protein, despite having the undesirable properties of gossypol without having any side effects. It can affect the performance and efficiency of broiler birds in a balanced diet at the rate of 7, 14, 21%, respectively, in the initial and final periods of growth. In the meantime, the use of Lactoserum powder (dried whey) as a source of unknown active factors in poultry feed increases the digestibility and absorption of the feed and improves the condition and growth of chickens by providing the amino acids lysine, methionine and riboflavin vitamins. And pantothenic acid and other rare elements play a role.
