| One hundred and thirty Turkish universities were included in the list of the best in the world

One hundred and thirty universities out of two hundred and seven Turkish universities managed to make it to the list of the best in the world in at least one scientific field.

According to a report by the Research Institute for Ranking Universities by (URAP) at the Middle East Technical University “METU”. prepared by ÖDTÜ, last year 67 Turkish universities with more than 10 scientific disciplines and 130 Turkish universities with at least one discipline were able to be ranked in the world.

The status of Turkish universities in the list prepared by 8 ranking institutions including URAP, ARWU, QS, THE, NTU, USNEWS, RUR, SCIMAGO and published under the title of the report “The Status of Turkish Universities in the World” in 2021, based on which 67 Turkish universities To be ranked in more than 10 scientific fields in the global field ranking.

Also, 14 universities were able to enter the top 100 universities in the world rankings. Chankaya University ranked 4th in NTU Mathematics and Middle East Technical University ranked 11th in QS Petroleum Engineering. Also, Istanbul Technical University managed to enter the top 100 fields in 5 scientific fields./ TRT
