Three methods are used to feed poultry in our country: 1) making complete feed in the farm, 2) using concentrate, 3) using ready-made factory grain.
1) Complete production of feed in the farm: in this method, all feed components (meals, grains, fodder part, mono or dicalcium phosphate, calcium carbonate or oyster powder, oil, vitamin and mineral supplement, salt, methionine and lysine) ) purchased by the farmer and made using a grinder and mixer according to the ration formula and used by the birds. This method is the most economical for large farms.
2) The method of preparation of concentrate: this composition is made by animal feed factories and contains small ration components (mono or dicalcium phosphate, salt, vitamins and minerals, methionine and lysine), which this concentrate is prepared from the factory and with coarse items (meals, grains, fodder part, oil) is combined by the farmer according to the formula written on the package and used by the bird. This method is more efficient for medium farms.
3) Prepared grain method: In this method, the feed is made by the factory and delivered to the farmer along with the fodder part or only the non-fodder part. Or the farmer gives his formula to the factory so that it can be custom-made for him. This method is more effective for small farms.
