Tier 5 visa holders such as the Youth Mobility Scheme visa from Australia and New Zealand can finally switch to the new skilled worker route from within the UK. Previously, they also needed to leave the UK and apply for a re-entry permit. The six-year stay limit (2Tier Skilled Workers has been abolished and permits can now be renewed indefinitely. You can no longer count allowances and guaranteed annual benefits to calculate the minimum salary of the (Skilled) group (although you still can (for ICT ) do this, provided that the local worker is also paid), in fact, this means that only dependent visa holders will be able to calculate it through the system new immigration, change to (Skilledworker) The minimum salary requirement for general and skilled worker visa applicants (row 2) has been abolished.
