A look at the role of cultural industries in entrepreneurship and job creation (1):
One of the most important issues of countries in today’s world, especially developing countries with a relatively young population, which has faced a serious challenge to the political systems of these societies, is the issue of increasing the unemployment rate. According to the research, one of the ways to solve this problem is to start small businesses.
Production at home as a serious process and in a significant volume as a home business has always been of interest all over the world and has been able to meet all or part of the income needs of the household unit. Home business relies on labor and family resources rather than economic capital. Therefore, people can create jobs and provide the conditions for economic growth of themselves and the country in a situation where the unemployment rate is high and the responsible organizations are unable to create jobs.
In Iran, home business has a long history and its examples such as carpet weaving, carpet weaving and various types of traditional textiles can be seen in different parts of the country. In Iran, there are various home businesses that are made by rural and nomadic weaves such as carpets, rugs, jajim, packaging of agricultural products and artifacts with natural raw materials and local handicrafts, agricultural products conversion industries, local clothing, mat weaving, as well as ecotourism and Nomadic and rural tourism can be mentioned. All of which are only a part of our cultural industries.
