How to calculate monthly salary (Article 37 of the Labor Law)
According to the provisions of the civil law of the Islamic Republic, a solar month is 30 days, therefore, in the labor law, wages and benefits belonging to the worker are calculated on the basis of 30 days. Of course, the payment of wages and related benefits in 31-day months is divided by 30 and multiplied by 31, and naturally, in 29-day months, it is also divided by 30 and multiplied by 29. It means that salary and wages are determined on the basis of a 30-day month, and its payment is made on the basis of the number of days in the month. This means that when the Supreme Labor Council announces the minimum wage for workers, this amount is announced based on the solar month (30 days), but when paying it, it should be calculated in proportion to the number of days in the month.
Considering that the working hours per day are 7 hours and 20 minutes, each person should work from 30 to 7.33 in a month, which is 220 hours. Pure personal performance.
For example, when a person works 180 hours in a month and receives the entire salary for a month, in fact, a part of the salary he receives is for the hours when the person was not active.
According to the labor law, 44 hours of work per week is declared, and there is a rest day on Friday, but the salary is paid, so:
44 hours / 6 working days = 7.33, which is 7 hours and twenty minutes.
Well, the salary must be paid on Friday, so it was determined that the working day according to the labor law is 7.33, and multiply this by 30 days, the number of 220 hours per month will be obtained. From the first accounting channel
