Agency experts’ trip to Iran was unsuccessful; Germany, France and Britain warned

While the visit of the International Atomic Energy Agency experts to Iran was unsuccessful and these experts left Tehran, the three European countries Germany, Britain and France warned against Iran moving away from its nuclear commitments.

On Sunday night, the expert team of the International Atomic Energy Agency traveled to Iran to discuss the discovery of enriched uranium particles in three places that were not announced by the Islamic Republic with the Tehran authorities.

The negotiations held by this delegation with the authorities of the Islamic Republic were unsuccessful and the delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency left Tehran last night.

Earlier, the Islamic Republic called the claim of discovering uranium particles from undeclared sites and the subsequent adoption of the resolution against it a political act, and in response it turned off the 27 cameras available to the IAEA to monitor Iran’s nuclear facilities, and it is one of the obstacles on the way to revitalizing the JCPOA. Also, the same issue is the discovery of uranium particles from undeclared sites.

On the other hand, the three European countries that are members of the JCPOA, following the meeting of the United Nations Security Council regarding what was said to be a clear violation of the Council’s Resolution 2231 and the JCPOA by the Islamic Republic, issued a joint statement regarding the violation of the JCPOA by the Islamic Republic and the consequences of nuclear activities. Iran warned.

Britain, Germany and France emphasized in this statement that they will never allow the Islamic Republic to obtain nuclear weapons.

The statement of these three countries also states: Iran has violated its obligations under the JCPOA for three and a half years and continues to intensify its nuclear program, while it has significantly reduced its transparency obligations in this regard. .

Referring to the 60% enrichment of uranium in Iran, the European Troika called the suspension of the IAEA’s monitoring of the Islamic Republic’s nuclear activities dangerous and demanded an immediate halt to Tehran’s missile program and the destabilizing transfer of missiles and drones to other countries.

Germany, France and Great Britain have considered such transfers as a violation of UN Security Council Resolution 2231 and while condemning these measures, they have strongly warned the authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran against sending more weapons to Russia and considered it an example of a war crime.

The three countries also announced that the authorities of the Islamic Republic should stop supporting Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and refrain from sending weapons to some militias in the Middle East.

The European Troika declared that such activities, along with the violent suppression of peaceful protests of the people, will only lead to further isolation of Iran from the international community.
