I followed your Excellency’s words regarding PhD students that were published in one of the news agencies.
Respected professor, as one of the greats of the country’s basic sciences, you are better than anyone in the current issues and problems of PhD students.
The level of PhD students and clinical assistants are completely equal and there is no difference between these two groups in terms of educational qualifications. The activity of each stratum is valuable in its place.
Isn’t a doctoral student who is present as an assistant in all the practical (sometimes educational) classes of medical students and other medical science students valuable?
Were the PhD students not present at the bedside along with other members of the medical staff during the corona and non-corona times?
Hazrat Ali (AS) says that whoever teaches me a word has made me his servant. This shows the importance of science and science education.
It is not less than saving human life.
In addition, a large number of PhD students have been working in hospitals and medical centers during the Corona period. It is not fair to be judged like this.
Also, the efforts of PhD students due to their simultaneous presence in the three fields of clinical, teaching and research are more than those of clinical assistants who have only been present in one field and lack the least knowledge related to the category of teaching and research.
You know better than anyone that the H-index of the professors and also the ranking of the university was due to the honest service of the PhD students.
If you believe that the level of a clinical assistant is higher than a basic science assistant, then you accept that your level is lower than doctors.
Unfortunately, your Excellency’s order has been used by clinical students and the Ministry of Science to suppress PhD students and even basic science professors. Your Excellency’s order has caused an increase in the desire to emigrate among students, which according to the leadership’s order is a clear example of betrayal of the country and the revolution.
According to the regulation of assistant training in basic medical sciences in 1975, the salary of basic science assistants was 50% higher than that of clinical assistants.
Has the level of PhD students and the value of their work and effort decreased during these 25 years?
We have always mentioned you as one of the greats of basic sciences, but we were named, but we will definitely not fail to pursue our rightful demands.
