Greetings
Today is 31 Shahrivar 99, and exactly 40 years ago on this day, that is, 31 Shahrivar 1359, our land, Iran, was captured by a long war, which was called the longest war of the 20th century.
Iran was involved in the sacred defense for 8 years, which ended with the great efforts of hundreds of thousands of sacrificers and defenders of life.
At 14:00 on the first day of the war, 190 Iraqi planes bombed all bases, airports and refineries in the country, thanks to their inexperience, the back of the country’s facilities did not break.
At 4:30 p.m. on the same day, eight Iranian bombers attacked two Iraqi air bases in Kut – near Baghdad – and Shuaibiya, south of Iraq, from the bombed Nojeh Hamadan and Bushehr airbases, and successfully destroyed both targets. They proved effective.
In this operation, one of the 8 two-cabin Phantom aircraft hit the electric cables due to maneuvering at a low altitude and both zealous officers were martyred instantly.
It is strange that these two high-ranking martyrs, one of them was a young officer of the Sunni religion of Kurdistan and the other was a high-ranking Shiite pilot of the country, both of whom were burned together in the fire.
The martyrdom of two Shia and Sunni officers together in the first overseas operation of the air force was a promise of unity for all Iranian peoples of all descents, religions, and rituals.
War is not a blessing, but the bravery of national heroes in difficult times is a source of pride and inspiration for all future generations.
These bravery, hard work and efforts to solve problems and fight against deficiencies and limitations and overcome sufferings, if properly understood and taken advantage of, are an eternal and endless blessing.
With respect to the famous name and high spirit of all those who tried and did not spare their lives for the security, greatness and pride of Iran. Payende Iran
