Mir Hossein from the language of Mir Mahmoud
Part of the second part of “Iran Farda” interview with Mir Mahmoud Mousavi Khamene

Economic policies after the war were started by Mr. Hashemi, which were completely different from the policies of the past. From a general point of view, the policies of the 8 years of war were based on two bases: one was the war conditions, the second was Mir Hossein’s attitude towards the economy, which was socio-oriented, and this was mainly rooted in a moral-oriented attitude.

Implementing liberal economic policies with those conditions means ignoring a large part of the society that was hurt or under pressure due to the impact of the war. Mirhossein believed that after the end of the war, considering that a large part of the budget was no longer going to the fronts and the war, this budget should have been injected into the economic infrastructure of the country. At that time, he believed that if we tighten the belts for a short period of time, and provide the economic infrastructure of the country with the same budget, then we can overcome the problems with more confidence and at a faster speed.

The opinion of Ayatollah Hashemi’s government was that the society was under pressure during the war and all kinds of welfare should be given to this society now. I don’t remember, maybe it was the year 70, I went to a village in Klardasht and I saw the European Seven-Up there! In those conditions after the war and the lack of foreign exchange resources, should we have spent the country’s currency on the import of sun-up or on economic infrastructure and factory construction?!

The lack of political ethics causes you to give economic slogans that only serve political goals, and those political goals are not ethical. This is what is happening. For example, it was at this time last year that the president came and sat down and smiled and said, what are these words, the price of the currency is the same, and who said that it is high and will go even lower. But three months later, we saw what happened and what happened. Mr. Farshad Momeni, an economist and Mirhossein’s economic advisor, said in one of his speeches that Mr. President gives advice to economists instead of taking opinions from them! Well, people are seeing the results of their work on their tables.

The reformists have never considered Mr. Rouhani a reformist, and he himself has said and continues to say that I am not a reformist. So why do the reformers connect themselves with them? Because they enter in the framework of a formula with the title of bad and worse.

This is a bad and worse circle of disaster, and no one has ever told the other side of the coin, but I will. The other side of the coin has a circle that they don’t even mention. In the opinion of that side, Mr. Rouhani is good, but Mr. Qalibaf is better and Mr. Jalili is the best. It is the same procedure in 2016.

If for this side it is a choice between bad and worse, for that side it is a choice between good and better. In fact, this is the result of deliberation. They interpreted the constitution to mean that the candidate must be qualified, but the text of the constitution does not say this. What does it mean to be verified? It means to verify that it is good; That is, you should see the good ones who line up, the best of them is the one who has a halo of light above his head, and the result of this policy is already determined.
