Are you a competent manager?

Are you a competent manager?!?!

From: Dr. Hassan Khosravi. University lecturer and author of human resources management book.

Thousands of managers in different categories; They are busy with management tasks and organizational missions. The result of the effort and management style of these managers along with other relevant factors should lead to an increase in the gross national product and per capita income and ultimately sustainable growth and development for the country.

But why hasn’t this happened?!?
There seem to be a few major drawbacks:
@new_theory
1- We do not have a unified education system for manager training. In our organizations, up to three or four levels, we have to have a deputy manager, while there is no such support system and many jobs depend on the person, and if that person is absent for a day for any reason; Things are delayed and stopped.
@new_theory
2- We usually choose managers of organizations with prejudice and not with reason. For example, when a president is changed, why should good managers change the previous president?!? Basically, management should not be tied to personal and seasonal tastes. If a manager is capable and efficient, it doesn’t matter if he is principled or a reformist or a good manager, he is supposed to be useful for the country, not for the people at the top.
@new_theory
3- Our managers do not have job security and the average life of managers in our country is very low. This does not allow program-oriented managers; bold To have a line breaker and a revolutionary. Therefore, managers often become conservative and from this point of view, the work process does not have the necessary and sufficient speed.
@new_theory
4- For the smallest tasks, our managers sometimes have to obtain assignments from different authorities (inside and outside the organization) and make arrangements so that they don’t get into trouble. Therefore, the principle of unity of command and in management; They often become featureless. We must tell our managers:
A) Trust.
b) Give permission.
Other than this; Management is just a ritual and going through everyday affairs.
@new_theory
5- Our managers work in isolation. Because of this, organizations have few successes. in an organization; The manager of administrative affairs only thinks about the success of his field of work, and the manager of financial affairs and. as well All the managers of the organization accuse each other that they are not working well. When the eyes of managers are focused on the success of the whole country and partialism is not dominant; We will definitely get better results.
@new_theory
6- There is no integrated technical and professional support and punishment system for managers. Our managers do not know what will happen to them for working well. Are they encouraged? Are they punished? There is a lot to say about this. Maybe another time
